PPG Passes 100 Milestone

ppg-3d-logo.jpgProject cargo specialists, Project Professionals Group, has passed the 100 members milestone since its formation in September last year. PPG‘s General-Manager Kevin Stephens said today from the group’s Brisbane headquarters that the PPG now had 101 member offices listed in 71 countries.

He also confirmed 90 participants from 60 countries had registered so far to attend the organization’s inaugural conference in Aarhus, Denmark, from August 27-31.

PPG membership has been boosted recently by Pishahang Tarabar International Transport & Forwarding Co., Ltd. (Iran), Road Air (Netherlands), Cotrans S.A. (Mexico), Coanaca International Logistics C.A. (CIL) (Venezuela), and H. Caspi & Co. Ltd. (Israel).

“PPG membership is only offered to those project professionals who meet specific capability criteria, and it is very pleasing that we have established an excellent international base of reputable expertise in such a short time,” Mr Stephens said.

Mr Stephens said a new initiative for members was a “Vessel Availability” link from the PPG’s web site. “The PPG Advisory Committee suggested this link that will allow only PPG members and sponsors to post open ships and aircraft, and will allow the general public access to view these availabilities,” Mr Stephens said.  “The link assists in identifying charter vessels or aircraft that can take additional cargoes and allows sponsors to post their vessel availabilities.”
