Project Professionals Group (PPG) is delighted to be named as a finalist in the Heavy Lift Project Forwarding International (HLPFI) awards ceremony to be held in Antwerp, Belgium, on 15th October, 2019 in the Training Awards category. The nomination covers PPG’s 11 years of presenting their master-class certificate course in project cargo management.

KARL GROSS, Germany and ALLFORT, Japan have successfully concluded a project on behalf of KRONES, one of the leading companies on plastic bottle making machines in the world. The shipment comprised 17 x 40` HC & 3 x 40` FR of new machinery (including one machine over 4m wide & 4m high) from Hamburg to Kobe. The scope of works included pre-road surveys, road permits, Terminal operation (un-crating, loading on trailer) and delivery to final rural destination.

PPG major sponsor, Port of Portland, USA, recently discharged 143 tower sections delivered on 3 vessels from BBC and G2.

 

Vestas is partnering with the Port of Portland to move wind turbine tower sections through Terminal 6. The sections for approximately 50 towers will be used on a wind project in Eastern Oregon. The final sections are also moving through Terminal 6.

 

Antwerp, the project cargo hub for Europe, was the location of the latest PPG project forwarding education program at the Antwerp Expo Centre in conjunction with the inaugural Antwerp XL Breakbulk Exhibition. Participants came from USA, UK, Netherlands, France and Belgium.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Emirates Group and Chief Executive of the Emirates Group presented the award to our CEO, Baheej Al Biqawi, during a ceremony at Dubai Opera on February 26.

CTO do Brasil Worldwide Logistics has successfully completed the shipment of a CAT Excavator. The self-propelled unit was transported from Portão, RS city to Port of Rio Grande, Brazil and shipped by Ro/Ro vessel to Port of Xingang, China.
