Conveyor Logistics Ltd. recently successfully completed one of the most challenging Heavy Lift handling operations in Bangladesh for the 275MW Barapukuria Coal Fired Thermal Power Station-3rd Unit.

PPG member, Almajdouie Logistics, Saudi Arabia, has successfully transported a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) modules from Jubail to the Waddi Alshamal project in Turaif, Saudi Arabia. 20 out of 40 GE units were on time and on budget, each weighing 195MT. Almajdouie transported the units (L25.19m x W3.89m x H3.35m) by 1x14 axles trailers throughout the entire journey of 1,300 klms from Jubail to Turaif.

Almajdouie Logistics has delivered the first shipment of 13 wagons and two engines for the eagerly anticipated Haramain High Speed Rail Project. The Almajdouie team transported the cargo from Jeddah Islamic Port to Rabigh Work Station-II, covering a distance of approximately 110km. By the first quarter of 2018, we will handle a total volume of 7,584 CBM.

 

PPG member, CTO, Brazil, has successfully arranged a project shipment of used Caterpillar 772 trucks ex North Brazil to China. In total 24  trucks and 2 dump bodies ( 871.600 mt / 3,715.450 cbm ) were loaded on 2 barges in Altamira ( state of Pará ) and shipped to the port of Belem, where the units were transferred directly to a break bulk vessel  for shipment to final destination at port of Tianjin Xingang – China.

Watch as SGL and TransGroup collaborate to move seven HVDC units, each weighing over 865,000lbs. Beginning the journey in Sweden, these massive units traveled via rail, ship, barge, and trailer to their final destination in Oregon, USA.

Friday 27th October, 2017 - PPG has successfully completed its eighth annual surveillance audit of its international quality management standard. The audit was conducted by SAI Global and zero non-conformances were identified. Additionally, PPG has successfully transitioned from IS09001:2008 to the updated ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Requirements. Re-certification has resulted in accreditation continuing for another three years under PPG's reviewed tri-annual audit scheme.

The PPG ISO Accredited education program was once again successfully held in Houston 17-18 October, 2017. The program was rated by all participants as another outstanding success. Participants attended from the USA, Canada, Ghana, Colombia, Australia and Indonesia. PPG education programs are recognised as the world's leading educator in project forwarding and is receiving deserved recognition from the global community.
