Congratulations to Mammoet for winning the Heavy Lift Project Forwarding International (HLPFI) Training Award 2020. The Project Professionals Group (PPG) certificate course in project cargo forwarding has graduated over 500 participants from 80 countries globally and it was a privilege to be a nominee for consecutive years in such esteemed company.
PPG Malaysia member, MS Global Freight Solution, arranged customs clearance, direct discharging from breakbulk vessel from Shanghai to Port Klang and delivery of a passenger boarding bridge system to Senai Johor Bahru Airport, Malaysia. Vessel arranged by Shipper who kept on re-scheduling arrival, which presented challenges with updating work approvals with Senai Airport. Total: 5 items, 316 cbm, 39 tons. Largest item: 1712 x 368 x 395cm, 23 tonnes
PPG Turkey, Genel Transport’s project team has successfully completed a challenging task of moving 1,387 tonnes/12,263 cbm of mining equipment from 3 different suppliers to be stored, then shipped as per their Client’s delivery plan.

MS Global Freight Solutions recently fixed a vessel from Laem Chabang, Thailand to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The project involved a total of 357 tons / 907cbm including 4 transformers with the heaviest unit weighing 74 tonnes.

MS Global Freight Solutions have successfully transported 3 locomotives from Port Klang to the National Railway Company’s maintenance depot located 220km away. Their scope included Loading at site with mobile cranes, inland transportation with 3 x multi axle trailers and unloading at the depot with mobile cranes. Cargo details: 3 units x 20.670m x 3.000m, 3.880m / 117 tonnes.

On behalf of Dhaka Power Distribution Company, Conveyor Logistics coordinated the transport of 62 cable drums, with a total volume of 1,636.2 cbm, for a substation project. Conveyor oversaw the loading of components at the port of Busan in South Korea and the unloading at Chattogram port in Bangladesh. Conveyor used a 30-tonne capacity crane to lift the drums and position them on a lowbed 11-axle trailer, which then transported the cargo 248 km to the city of Demra in Bangladesh.
