icecorp7seas1.jpg In an extremely challenging project, PPG Canada, IceCorp Projects, and Jordan, Seven Seas Shipping and Transport Company, has successfully concluded a major shipment of Girder Cranes and accessories from Canada and USA to Iraq. The negotiations between seller and buyer lasted about two years after the terms of shipping and letter of credit requirements did not really meet reality. It took quite a time to get test certificates issued and bookings were constantly deferred as a result of these complex issues. The final carrier choice was Wallenius Wilhelmsen who had vessels over booked to that region several months ahead and any changes and delays threw the schedule even further behind.
